Terms of service
Plain words about using imgy.
The service
imgy lets photographers (“studios”) put photographs in online galleries and share them with their clients. Studios sign up for an account; their clients use the galleries without one.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself and turn on two-step sign-in. You’re responsible for what happens in your studio’s account, including what your team does.
Your photographs
Everything you upload stays yours. You give us only the permission we need to store it, make the viewing and download copies, and show it to the people you share it with. You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload.
Plans and payment
A new studio starts with a free trial. After it, a plan keeps the studio going; prices are on the pricing page. When a plan or trial ends, you can still sign in and download your work, and your galleries stay open to clients for 14 days.
What isn’t allowed
Nothing illegal, nothing you don’t have the rights to, nothing that harms others, and nothing that strains the service for everyone (automated scraping, uploading what isn’t photography at scale). We may suspend a studio that breaks these rules.
Ending
You can stop at any time. Ask us at the address on our website to delete your studio and everything in it.
Liability
We take care of your photographs, keep backups and check our work, but keep your own copies of anything you can’t lose. The service is provided as it is; our liability is limited to what you paid us in the last twelve months.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, we’ll tell studios by email before the change takes effect.
